People Operations Manager
Walr is looking for a dedicated and self-motivated People Operations Manager to join our People Operations Team. We are building a team of world-class talent and are looking for an organizational powerhouse who can collaborate with multiple internal teams and stakeholders.
You will manage our full employee life-cycle, including onboarding, internal operations and employee experience. As the People Operations Manager, you will have a front row seat and a direct impact on the next phase of our growth. Key Responsibilities
- Serve as a crucial point of contact between executive leadership and employees
- Manage all People Operations functions, such as onboarding / offboarding, benefit & compensation administration, visa-related requests, payroll, time off requests, and performance management
- Creating onboarding plans and educating newly hired employees on HR policies, the business, internal procedures, and regulations
- Creating resources and managing employee training and continued learning
- Generating official internal documents such as offer letters, appointment letters, and employee communications
- Maintain compliance with regional employment laws and regulations for the areas we are operational (US, UK, Nordic, India).
- Build and implement a system to support an inclusive and diverse community throughout the company
- Facilitate and lead employee relations activities, including conducting internal audits and disciplinary meetings
- Plan and direct employee engagement events, which promote a high-performing, inclusive, and mission-driven culture
- Review employee feedback, strategize about HR programs to benefit workplace culture and enable growth
Desired Experience
- 3+ years of human resources professional experience
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Knowledge of HR administrative tasks and responsibilities including payroll
- Advanced computer skills, including data entry, data processing, communication tools and payroll and human resources software
- Problem-solving skills and resourceful thinking
- Leadership and coaching skills
- Strong empathy and interpersonal skills
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills
